In 2002, leveraging the companies' core competencies Eagle Comtronics diversified into commercial RF filter component design, machining, and component assembly. The Eagle Engineering staff is centric to the companies' success as turn-key solution innovator for specialty RF applications in both commercial and government applications around the world.

For over a decade, Eagle has shared its excess capacity in surface mount and through-hole circuit board population, precision machining, wiring harness and hand assembly disciplines with prominent entities in a variety of industries. With lean manufacturing processes, high quality standards, nimble response capabilities and reduced overhead burdens, Eagle Comtronics is poised to compete with off shore manufactures.

Designed and oversaw the production of the very first Cable TV passive RF filter line known as "traps" in 1975 . These traps were designed to meet the need of the emerging premium channel programming market. A trap is a cylindrical device placed in-line between a telephone pole and a house that restricts the flow of a premium channel into the home. Specifically designed for the HBO launch, traps and filters would later filter additional premium program channels enabling Cable Systems to package content consistent with their marketing objectives and consumer needs.
With a highly skilled engineering team the company excelled in it's early years through it's continuous pursuit of excellence. For over 35 years Eagle Comtronics has been the recognized quality "gold standard" in RF filters and traps around the world.
Built on wholesome values, the company maintains a highly skilled and tenured work force. It was Mr. Devendorfs belief that employees and customers were ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Throughout the years the company has become known for impeccable integrity, placing employee and customer needs above all else.
